When Spirits Dance Beneath the Moon
Since the beginning of time, humans have danced beneath the full moon—moving in circles of hope, renewal, and devotion. This artwork celebrates that timeless ritual, merging African and Nordic mythologies into a single story carried forward into Latin America. Here, the Moon Goddess appears as the bringer of joy, the mother of witches and warlocks, the keeper of calm, and the witness to wishes cast into the night.
The swirling, fragmented figures echo the ancient dance performed across continents: a celebration of light in darkness, of magic passed from ancestors to descendants. Through vivid colors and shifting forms, the piece captures the universal longing for protection, guidance, and new beginnings beneath the glowing lunar face.
The Dance to the Moon Goddess honors a tradition older than memory—one that continues wherever people gather under the full moon to dream of better days.
